Performers Paul Cleaver Paul began his love for all things theatrical at Wynstones Steiner School, UK. Since 1992 he has worked as both a performer (actor/musician) and songwriter for a number of different companies and has journeyed extensively. By 1995 he recorded his first album “Tempest Lullaby”, a collection of original songs. From 1997-2001 Paul was co-director of a music-theatre piece for The Very Moving Festival company, a company involved in creating artistic projects that involved high input from schools and community members. Travelling along Pilgrim paths throughout England, they would compose songs to share with school children en route at various focal points. This work would sometimes culminate in an intensive workshop week, the end of which a small music-theatre piece was shared. Paul’s composing skills were drawn upon for these projects, and others – namely Storm’s Child and Don’t I Know You for English Eurythmy Theatre, The Golden Bird for the Rose Theatre Company and more recently The Wordsmith’s Cat, Soul Food and Someone Else's Shoes for Ink Pot Theatre. Paul performed in these productions, which toured throughout Europe and the UK 2000-2001 and then in Australia in 2002 - current. Being a “Jack of all Trades”, he has also designed and built sets, made costumes and masks, designed lighting and worked as a stage manager. Having now immigrated to Australia, he is enjoying contributing to the artistic projects and workshops of Ink Pot Theatre as co-founder of the company. ![]() Jo-anne Sarre Jo-anne Sarre’s professional performing career has spanned over 20 years, taking her throughout Australia, New Zealand, UK, Europe, USA, and Canada.
